Course Objectives:

Upon attending this training, participants will understand the pre requisite requirement to achieve Lean Maintenance and implement a Lean Planning & Scheduling for maintenance manpower planning, machine maintenance routine and parts acquisition activities.

Course Content:

Module 1 : Understanding LEAN Basic

Activity

  • (a) Charting Existing and Future status through Spaghetti Chart

  • (b) Eliminating Over Processing by using "Cross Functional Chart"

Module 2: Basic TPM in LEAN

​

Module 3: OEE Calculation for Improvement & Monitoring

 

Activity

  • (a) Participants to provide 3 months data for Machine Downtime, Quality & Production quantity

  • (b) OEE Calculation

​

Module 4: MFMEA (Machinery Failure Mode Effect Analysis)

Activity - Constructing MFMEA

​

Module 5: Root Cause Analysis for Maintenance Improvement

​

MODULE 6 : Planning & Scheduling

 

Activity

  • (a) Listing down all schedules in maintenance group activities

  • (b) Grouping its database and linking them with Power BI

  • (c) Displaying results in Power BI dashboard

To understand a predictive maintenance management program, traditional management techniques should first be considered in order to understand machine failures

When a machine breaks down, fix it. The “If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it” method of maintaining plant machinery has been a major part of plant maintenance operations.
