Beyond Maintenance 4 2013 - Integrating Proactive Maintenance Strategies & Engineering Asset Management

Maintenance is no longer identified under cost centres, it has become an imperative profit centre for companies to boost the profit, increase their productivity and provide customer satisfaction at the highest possible level.

The indispensability of maintenance function and maintenance management has risen tremendously throughout the years of rapid industrial evolvement and development. Maintenance is no longer identified under cost centres, it has become an imperative profit centre for companies to boost the profit, increase their productivity and provide customer satisfaction at the highest possible level.

From the past three consecutive years of Beyond Maintenance being hosted in KL, a wide range of maintenance strategies and maintenance management related topics were presented and discussed. Recall the 1st Beyond Maintenance Conference back in 2009, we had presentations on Maintenance Needs Analysis, Reducing the cost of PM, Putting the science back into spares decision making, Lean Maintenance planning and scheduling. Highlighted topics of Beyond Maintenance 2 & 3 includes PM Analysis, World Class Maintenance Management, Improving Craft Time with CMMS, Condition Based Monitoring, TPM Vs RCM, Back to Basic Approach - First Step to Approach Zero Breakdown, and the list goes on.

In this 2-day conference entitled, “Beyond Maintenance 4” and followed with a 1-day post conference seminar on Maintenance Management, our eminent and unique group of international speakers and local industrial experts presented on topics with the mission of going beyond maintenance to share the best practices, latest maintenance trends and future maintenance challenges, with handy yet useful maintenance tips for common engineering assets such as motors and drives system, HVAC system, electrical system, bearing and etc.



Topics on Managing Human Errors, Moving to Proactive Maintenance and on to Asset Management, Classical RCM Approach, Ageless Rule of Asset Dependability were all revealed at the conference. With the unique focus of the Beyond Maintenance 4 conference, the event became the Not-To-Miss maintenance event of 2013.
