COURSE INTRODUCTION

This programme develops a systematic approach to assessing the condition of existing building structures. Participants learn to plan condition surveys, recognise defects and deterioration, select destructive and non-destructive tests, interpret findings and develop practical recommendations for repair, rehabilitation and monitoring. Practical examples and guided discussion help participants connect the subject to decisions and challenges in their own workplace.
