COURSE INTRODUCTION

This programme develops a practical approach to optimising and troubleshooting industrial air-pollution control systems. Participants examine suction hoods, ducting, dust collectors, scrubbers, fans and chimneys, learning how to identify performance gaps and improve system reliability, emission control and environmental compliance. Practical examples and guided discussion help participants connect the subject to decisions and challenges in their own workplace.

COURSE OBJECTIVES

By the end of this programme, participants should be able to:
- Explain the core concepts, terminology and working principles related to Optimizing and Troubleshooting Air Pollution Control System.
- Apply structured methods and industry good practices for Case study Failure of Air Pollution Control System, Objective of Optimization and Troubleshooting definition, and Optimizing suction hood, ducting, APCS, motor fan and chimney.
- Evaluate relevant environmental, safety & compliance situations and identify risks, gaps and improvement opportunities.
- Translate the learning into practical workplace actions and sound technical decisions.

COURSE OUTCOME

Upon completion, participants will be better prepared to:
- Assess relevant workplace situations using the concepts and methods covered in Optimizing and Troubleshooting Air Pollution Control System.
- Select and apply appropriate tools, checks or controls for Case study Failure of Air Pollution Control System, Objective of Optimization and Troubleshooting definition, and Optimizing suction hood, ducting, APCS, motor fan and chimney.
- Recommend actions that support regulatory compliance, operational control and environmental performance.
- Communicate findings, improvement opportunities and next steps clearly to relevant stakeholders.
