INVESTIGATION, ASSESSMENT AND REPAIR/REMEDIAL/STRENGTHENING WORKS OF DEFECTS IN EXISTING CONCRETE BUILDINGS AND STRUCTURES

23 - 24 NOVEMBER 2026

COURSE INTRODUCTION

This practical programme gives participants a structured, workplace-focused understanding of Investigation Assessment and Repair Remedial Strengthening of Concrete Structures. Key areas include Constitutions of concrete material, Hardened concrete, and Rudiments of concrete structure design, with emphasis on practical understanding, workplace application and confident decision-making. The programme connects key concepts with practical examples that participants can apply in their own workplace.

COURSE OBJECTIVES

By the end of this programme, participants should be able to:
- Explain the core concepts, terminology and working principles related to Investigation Assessment and Repair Remedial Strengthening of Concrete Structures.
- Apply structured methods and industry good practices for Constitutions of concrete material, Hardened concrete, and Rudiments of concrete structure design.
- Evaluate relevant general technical training situations and identify risks, gaps and improvement opportunities.
- Translate the learning into practical workplace actions and sound technical decisions.
