AN INSIGHT OF DYNAMIC COOLING SYSTEM

04 - 05 NOVEMBER 2026

COURSE INTRODUCTION

This comprehensive 2-day training program is meticulously designed to bridge the gap between theoretical psychrometrics and practical, high-stakes HVAC system design for the modern built environment. Moving beyond basic air conditioning principles, this course immerses participants in the realities of tropical climate challenges and the stringent requirements of global standards like ASHRAE 169. Over the two days, attendees will systematically deconstruct cooling systems from the ground up, beginning with fundamental heat load calculations and dynamic simulation, progressing through advanced airside setups (including dedicated outdoor air systems and heat recovery), and culminating in a deep dive into waterside plant optimization. Through intensive case studies, participants will explore tailored solutions for a diverse range of sectors, from commercial hospitality and warehouses to critical environments such as healthcare facilities, pharmaceutical cleanrooms, and data centers, ensuring a holistic understanding of total system energy performance.

COURSE OBJECTIVES

By the end of this programme, participants should be able to:
- Explain the core concepts, terminology and working principles related to An Insight of Dynamic Cooling System.
- Apply structured methods and industry good practices for A review of Cooling System For tropical climate and Psychometric of air, ASHRAE 169 global climate zones and extreme weather design consideration, and Heat Load Principles and Calculation including manual and dynamic simulation.
- Evaluate relevant general technical training situations and identify risks, gaps and improvement opportunities.
- Translate the learning into practical workplace actions and sound technical decisions.

WHO SHOULD ATTEND

This programme is suitable for engineers, executives, supervisors, technicians, managers and professionals who need practical knowledge in this subject area.
