COURSE INTRODUCTION
This hands-on programme develops a practical understanding of hydraulic components, circuits and electro-hydraulic control. Participants learn to read and construct circuit diagrams, identify power-unit and control components, connect hoses safely, and set pressure, flow, speed and actuator position. Practical exercises reinforce safe setup, measurement and systematic fault-finding for industrial hydraulic systems.
COURSE OBJECTIVES
By the end of this programme, participants should be able to:
- Apply essential hydraulic-system safety and pressure-release practices.
- Identify the functions of pumps, reservoirs, valves, actuators, filters and measuring devices.
- Read and construct basic hydraulic and electro-hydraulic circuit diagrams.
- Connect hydraulic hoses and quick couplings correctly.
- Measure and adjust pressure, flow, actuator speed and position.
- Use a systematic approach to diagnosing common hydraulic circuit faults.
