This hands-on programme advances participants from basic component checking to a more systematic approach to electronic fault diagnosis and repair. Participants strengthen their use of test equipment, circuit analysis, power-supply troubleshooting, component testing and practical repair techniques for common electronic boards and equipment. Practical examples and guided discussion help participants connect the subject to decisions and challenges in their own workplace.

- Read circuit diagrams and trace power, ground and signal paths.
- Test components accurately in-circuit and out-of-circuit.

- Use oscilloscopes, thermal methods and comparative testing to verify board-level faults.
