ENERGY EFFICIENCY: TECHNICAL AND FINANCIAL ANALYSIS
18 - 19 MARCH 2027
16 CDP Approved by ST
COURSE INTRODUCTION
This programme introduces the technical and financial knowledge needed to prepare and assess energy-efficiency project proposals and reports. Designed for non-technical personnel involved in energy projects, it links electricity use, industrial loads and energy-saving measures with financial appraisal and energy-audit practice. Case studies, computer simulations and Excel-based modelling help participants turn technical findings into a clear investment case.
COURSE OBJECTIVES
- Understand electric power, energy, electricity bills and tariff-related concepts.
- Identify energy-saving opportunities in pumps, fans, blowers, compressors and other electrical loads.
- Evaluate projects using net present value, internal rate of return, benefit-cost ratio and payback.
- Understand energy-audit stages, parameter measurement, measurement and verification, and reporting.
- Apply case-study and spreadsheet tools to develop an energy-efficiency proposal.
WHO SHOULD ATTEND
Non-technical personnel involved in energy-efficiency projects, including those contributing to project proposals, financial appraisal, energy-audit reporting and decisions on energy-saving investments.
COURSE CONTENT
